Short answer: for 200 guests over six hours with a bar, order four flushing deluxe units, or one two-stall trailer plus two deluxe units. Add a separate standard unit for caterers and the DJ, and give the quinceañera somewhere roomy to manage her dress.

Why quinces need more than a backyard party
A quinceañera is a long evening with a big crowd: the Mass, then a reception that often runs past midnight with 150 to 300 guests, a court of damas and chambelanes, family from both sides of the border, and dancing. Most restroom use packs into the hours after dinner, so we count for the peak.

The gown problem
A ball gown and a 47-inch-square cabin do not get along. Families tell us the quinceañera and her court need somewhere with more room. Two good fixes: a restroom trailer stall, or an ADA unit, which has about seven by seven and a half feet of floor. Place it near where the court is getting ready.
Deluxe units or a trailer?
Deluxe units need nothing from the venue and can go anywhere a dolly can roll. A trailer feels like an indoor bathroom and has air conditioning, but it needs a hose bib, a free 110-volt outlet and firm ground for the truck. Many families mix them: a trailer near the dance floor and deluxe units at the far end of the property. Our trailer vs. deluxe guide goes deeper.
Timing and lighting
- Units arrive the day before a Saturday party and leave Sunday or Monday.
- Put string lights or solar stakes along the path; it gets dark quickly once the sun drops.
- Keep the restroom area on a hard path, not soft sand, so heels and wheelchairs do not sink.
- Keep a separate unit by the kitchen tent so caterers do not cross the dance floor.
Booking window
Spring and fall Saturdays fill early, and trailers go first. Book three to four weeks out for a quince, and longer for the weekends around Easter, Mother’s Day and December.
