Questions

Every question, by topic

What does a porta potty rental cost?

There isn’t one flat price, because the address, the unit, the dates and the cleaning schedule all change it. To give you a feel: a standard toilet for a weekend party was quoted at $249 with drop-off and pickup included, and a job-site unit at $247.20 for the first 28 days, then $205 per 4 weeks plus $29 to remove it. Our pricing page has more.

Will I be charged for a whole month if I only need it for a day?

No. A one-day party, a weekend or a few days are booked as an event, at one event price. The unit often arrives the day before and leaves the next business day. Month-style billing, in 28-day cycles, is only for job sites and properties that keep a unit.

Are delivery and pickup part of the price?

Sometimes yes, sometimes they are listed separately; that is why the quote is itemized. Event prices often include both trips. Ongoing rentals may show a delivery charge on the first cycle (for example $73) and a removal charge at the end (for example $29).

How quickly can you get a unit to me?

We look up your ZIP, the date and which drivers and units are free while you’re on the phone. Sometimes we can come sooner than the first open slot, but we only promise it once a driver is assigned. Drivers run from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Can you deliver at an exact time, or after dark?

Drivers work a route, so we pass along a time-of-day request (morning, say) without promising a minute. Evening delivery isn’t guaranteed. If your event starts at a fixed time, have the unit dropped off the day before.

How often do you clean a unit that stays?

Once a week is standard: pump the tank, scrub the inside, fresh deodorizer, new paper. A property that barely uses its unit can ask for a longer gap; one customer chose monthly cleaning at $199 a month. In summer heat we recommend sticking with weekly.

Do the sink units need water from me?

No. The toilet with a built-in basin and the flushing deluxe unit carry their own water. Only restroom trailers need a hose bib and a 110-volt outlet at the site.

Is “wheelchair-accessible” the same as “ADA”?

Not in our yard. The Comfort XL gives a wheelchair user a level floor and a 32″ door. The We’ll Care III and Satellite Freedom are built to ADA rules, with a 60″ turning circle and grab bars. If paperwork says ADA, rent the ADA model. See both.

How many units for 100 people?

For four or five hours without alcohol, two standard units. With a bar, make it three. If the event is open to the public, one of them should be accessible. The unit counter handles other sizes.

What does OSHA require on a Texas job site?

Federal rule 29 CFR 1926.51 applies in Texas: one toilet for up to 20 workers, and one toilet seat plus one urinal for each 40 workers beyond that (each 50 once you pass 200). A standard unit has one of each. OSHA also says a toilet that isn’t kept sanitary doesn’t count. Job-site rentals.

My project is running long. What happens?

Nothing you need to do: the unit rolls into another 28-day cycle at the ongoing rate. When the site is done, call and we schedule removal.

Can I cancel?

Yes. More than 24 hours before delivery, you get a full refund. Inside 24 hours, the booking can’t be refunded. If we placed a hold on your card, the bank can take a few days to release it. Rental terms.

Which payment methods do you take?

Credit cards. Get a quote, look it over, and call back to book while the date is still open. We can text or email the quote.

Where will the driver put the unit?

Wherever you choose, as long as it’s level and the truck can get within hose reach. Customers often pick the back of a building near a door, or the edge of a parking lot. Someone on site can wave the driver in. See the placement checklist.

Which towns do you cover?

All of El Paso, plus Socorro, Horizon City, San Elizario, Fabens, Canutillo, Anthony, Clint and Tornillo in Texas, and Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, Chaparral, Anthony and Las Cruces in New Mexico. Full list and map.

What are your hours, and which time zone?

Mountain Time. The office is open 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, phones are answered 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and trucks deliver and clean 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend drops and pickups are booked ahead; holidays by arrangement. The online form takes requests around the clock.

How do I lock in a booking?

Ask for a quote, look it over, then call back to book while the date is still open. We can send the quote by text or email.

Who do I call if something goes wrong?

Us. Our own crew owns, delivers and cleans the equipment, so a tipped unit, a missed visit or a move request goes straight to the people who fix it.
