Rental terms and cancellation
1. About us
Joseph Rental Works – El Paso Porta Potty Rentals (“we” or “us”), 1225 Texas Ave, El Paso, TX 79901, phone (915) 293-9190, rents portable restrooms and related equipment in Texas and New Mexico. We own the equipment and handle delivery, cleaning and removal. Nothing is sold.
2. Quotes and reservations
- We price each rental from the address, dates, equipment, quantity and cleaning schedule you give us. Prices hold subject to availability when you book.
- Your quote lists what it covers: rental period, drop-off, pickup or removal, cleaning visits and tax. Anything not on the quote is not included.
- The reservation is confirmed after we match a truck and equipment to your dates and you give us payment details.
3. Paying
- We take credit cards.
- We may place an authorization hold when you reserve. If the hold is released, your bank may need a few days to show it.
- Event rentals are charged at the quoted package price. Ongoing rentals are charged at the start of each 28-day cycle.
- Texas addresses are charged sales tax where it applies. New Mexico addresses are charged New Mexico gross receipts tax.
4. Rental periods and extensions
- Event rentals (a day, a weekend or a few days) carry one price for the quoted dates. Units often arrive before and leave after the event; weekend rentals usually arrive Friday and leave Monday, and holidays can push pickup to the next business day.
- Ongoing rentals bill every 28 days, not by calendar month, and renew at the recurring rate until you ask for removal.
- To keep an event unit longer, call before the scheduled pickup. Extensions depend on availability and we confirm the rate when you ask.
5. Cancelling
- More than 24 hours before scheduled delivery: full refund.
- Within 24 hours of scheduled delivery: non-refundable.
- Ending an ongoing rental: ask for removal. The 28-day cycle already under way is not refunded unless your written agreement says it is.
6. Drop-off, placement and access
- You pick a safe, level spot our truck can reach, and give us directions, gate codes and an on-site contact.
- Trucks run routes between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Mountain Time. We pass along time-of-day requests but cannot promise an exact time or after-dark delivery.
- You are responsible for approvals needed to place equipment on streets, sidewalks, parks or other public property, and for HOA, landlord, venue or base-access approval.
- If we cannot reach a unit on a cleaning or pickup day because of a locked gate or blocked path, the visit may be missed or moved, and a return trip may be charged if your quote says so.
7. Cleaning visits
Your quote states how often units are cleaned, usually weekly for ongoing rentals or a custom schedule. A visit covers pumping, cleaning, deodorizing and restocking. Extra visits are available and priced before they are scheduled.
8. Looking after the equipment
- The equipment stays our property. Please do not move, tip, relocate or alter it; call and we will move it.
- While it is at your site, you are responsible for loss, theft, vandalism, fire and damage beyond normal wear, and for costs caused by misuse, such as objects that must be pulled from a tank.
- Tell us promptly about tipped, damaged or full units so we can clean, repair or swap them.
9. Restroom trailers
The site must provide the utilities named on your quote (for the two-stall trailer, a garden-hose water connection and a 110-volt outlet) and level ground the truck can reach. If those are missing on delivery day, we may not be able to set the trailer up.
10. Wind, storms and schedule changes
When high wind, monsoon flooding, ice or site conditions make a drop-off, cleaning or pickup unsafe, we move it to the next route day that is safe. Date changes depend on availability, and changes within 24 hours of delivery fall under the cancellation terms above.
