Porta potty rental for parties, festivals and events
Portable toilets for yard parties, kermés, tournaments, races and street events. Units arrive before the event, usually Friday for a weekend, and leave after. Plan one standard unit per 75 people at the busiest hour, one more for every four if there is a bar, at least one accessible unit, and a wash station wherever there is food.

Counting units for your event
Count the crowd at the busiest hour, not total tickets sold. Plan one standard unit per 75 people, add one for every four if there is a bar, make at least one accessible in each group, and add a wash station anywhere food is served.
Examples from typical El Paso events
- Backyard graduation party, 60 guests, 4 hours: one unit.
- Parish kermés, 300 people over 5 hours, food booths: four units, one of them ADA, plus one wash station.
- Car show on a parking lot, 500 people, 8 hours, beer garden: 10 units plus 3 for the bar, one ADA, two wash stations.
- Youth soccer tournament, 400 on site, 10 hours: 10 units split between two field clusters, one ADA in each, and a midday service visit.
What we set up most
Yard parties
Birthdays, baptisms, graduations and carne asadas. One unit on the driveway keeps the house bathroom free.
Kermés and church festivals
Food booths mean wash stations. Public crowds mean an ADA unit in each cluster.
Tournaments
Park fields often have one locked restroom building. Put units near the fields, away from the concession line.
Races and rides
5Ks, trail runs in the Franklins and cycling events need units at the start line and sometimes at a midpoint.
Company events
Flushing deluxe units or a trailer for client days and VIP tents.
Film and production
Base camps and desert location shoots, with wash stations for crew and catering.
Layout that prevents lines
- At large sites, split units into two clusters so nobody walks more than a few minutes.
- Put wash stations right beside the toilets, not across the lot.
- Keep units downwind of food. Afternoon wind here usually comes from the west and southwest.
- Light the path after dark; standard units have no interior light.
- Leave a truck-wide route open if a mid-event visit is booked.

Event rental questions
How far ahead should I book toilets for an event in El Paso?
One to two weeks covers most parties. Book three to four weeks out for spring and fall weekends, holiday weekends, and anything with 10 or more units or a trailer. Big orders are checked against inventory by a specialist before we confirm.
When do event units arrive and leave?
Weekend units usually come Friday and leave Monday. If the event is on a Sunday or a holiday when trucks are off, the unit arrives before it and leaves on the next business day.
Can the units be cleaned during a two-day event?
Yes. Add a service visit between days to the quote: pump, clean and restock overnight or early morning. A festival organizer we quoted asked for exactly that.
Does my event need an ADA unit?
Public and permitted events generally do, at a rate of 5 percent of each cluster with at least one (2010 ADA Standards §213.2). For a private party, add one if any guest uses a wheelchair.
Do I need a permit for toilets at a street event?
If the units sit on a street, sidewalk or park, the City of El Paso’s special event process usually covers them, and the permit may list required counts. On the New Mexico side, ask the city or Doña Ana County. Send us the permit conditions and we will match them.
